Ed Sheeran Digipak

This is our final version of the completed Digipak. We have incorporated a lot of the ideas we have used in the music video. We have used the black and white theme to make it match with the video. We have also used pictures of the actual props that we used in the music video. As an added feature we have put the lyrics to the main parts of the song we used on the inside of the case. This Digipak is a good representation of our music video and we feel the two go well together. To make the Digipak look as real as possible we have added the other songs from his album to the back of the case and we have even put the name of the singer and the album name on the spine of the case.

Our Final Music Video

This is our completed music video, it has taken a lot of time and effort to create, however we do feel it has been a very enjoyable experience as a group and we have all learnt something from this exercise. The music video shows that not all relationships work out and that you need to move on when it doesn't  this music video is about how one guy made a mistake with his girlfriend which meant he lost her for good, there are scenes when he is thinking back to how they used to be, and scenes of him on his own drinking to try and overcome this pain. This is the official music video for Ed Sheeran-Drunk by NeonCloud Productions.                        

The Website

The website was made on weebly.com we found the software easy to use and did not take long for us to understand how it works. The website is simple and clear to understand with the separate links leading to different webpages. The opening picture is one from our Digipak and is of all of the characters in the production. As we are called 'Neon Cloud Productions' we have used the neon colour for the separate page links.

easter holidays

during the easter holidays i managed to do alot of res4earch into new and existing music videos, i will post detailed analysis of a few of them later on. we only have two weeks left to finish everything and so far we are nealry finished most of the tasks, we just need to do some final detailing into them.

filming, coming to the end

we believe that we have got all the footage that we will need for our A2 project, we only have a small amount of editing to finish, the same goes for the digipack and website. All of these are nearly complete and will most defiantly be finished over Easter.

big issue

unfortunately we are having some difficulties with our actress who doesn't ever want to help us with the filming, as its now too late to change the actress so we just have to live with her being uncooperative.

todays task

Today we are aiming to finish off any bits of film that need to be done. the digipak is as good as finished with the website coming along well. currently we are about 30 seconds short of a full music video.

We have now started our digipak in the hope that we finish this and the website next week.

after half term review

as 2 members of our group were on a school trip during half term we were not able to complete any practical work, however the person who was available has done significant research into digipaks and how to create one. we have done some more filming today and we just need to edit all the footage together now.

First Draft

due to the icy conditions outside we are going to try and complete all of the inside shots. we have completed most of the outdoor shots and we are just beginning to edit them all together. so far everything is going well

Filming 2

today due to the rain we are moving into plan b like our risk assessment says to do. we are going to redue some indoor shots and film some new indoor shots.

filming part 1

we have begun filming our music video. so far we have managed to complete quite a few indoor shots and even a few exterior shots. compared to last year we think we are working better as a group.we should be finished our draft version before the end of term.
